The College of Southern Maryland offers faculty, staff, and community members convenient spaces for conferences and meetings. You can reserve a room easily through our Reservation Request Form.
Room Rental Information:
Your room is available 30 minutes prior to your event start time unless a reserve time has been requested. We reserve the right to schedule another event 30 minutes after your designated end time.
Room Rental Fees
The room rental fee must be received in full at the time of the submission of the fully executed Facility Use Contract.
For cancellation of an event, Conference Services must receive a written cancellation notice a minimum of 15 working days prior to the event. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of the facilities charge. Activities using college facilities will be automatically cancelled when the college closes due to inclement weather or other emergency conditions.
Placement of signs and decorations require prior approval and their use must be coordinated through Conference Services. Nails, hooks, tacks, and tape used to secure signs or decorations are prohibited. We are not liable for any damages and we reserve the right to pass on additional costs to you.
The Conference Center will allow a user to provide free training for its own employees using its own trainers, or if the training is not available through CSM and the training is offered under an agreement with the college.
CDL, Inc. is the exclusive caterer for all food/beverage service. Contact the Conference Center Manager at 301-934-7661 or Food Services at 301-539-4715 for menu options.
At its discretion, the Conference Center may require that security and/or law enforcement personnel be assigned to an event. The user is responsible for the additional cost of this service.
