Volunteer Coordinator Meeting
Volunteer Coordinator Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every other month (September, November, January, March, and May) from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. The March meeting is cancelled due to weather; the next meeting is scheduled for May 11, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Habitat for Humanity in St. Mary's (Note: This date is a Thursday). Faith-Based Affinity Group Meeting
These meetings promote ways faith-based nonprofit organizations can help each other to include: sharing info on events so each can support one another, partnering on common interests, sharing resources of support, networking, and increased awareness on community concerns and issues to rally collaborative efforts. Southern Maryland Veterans Support Coalition (SMVSC)
The next Southern Maryland Veterans Support Coalition (SMVSC) meeting is June 20, 3 p.m. Prince Frederick Campus, Building A, Room 107. This group's focus is to assist the southern Maryland veteran support groups by providing a mechanism to help identify the different organizations in the region and to promote collaborative informational meetings to support each other's missions and needs.
