Meeting your educational and career goals!

Preparing students ages 11-27, for college and a career. Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally funded TRiO program designed to aid and prepare first-generation, low-income participants in their college and career pursuits.

Who is eligible?

The ETS program assists individuals ages 11-27 from ALL backgrounds in Charles County who have the potential to succeed in higher education. We put an emphasis on assisting middle and high school students, and also serve veterans and high school dropouts. We provide first-generation, low-income participants with the support needed to complete high school, and to be successful in achieving college goals. Students may chose to go to any postsecondary institution of their choice.

What does ETS do?

ETS provides the following services:

• Tutoring
• Test preparation (Maryland Functional Test/SAT/ACT)
• Counseling
• Programs that encourage persistence
• Financial aid application assistance
• College admission preparation
• Career exploration
• Assessment workshops
• And many other student services!

Most services are free to qualifying students.
