The handbook provides information to faculty concerning the following: the history and mission of the college; procedures and resources related to instruction; faculty governance; faculty rank, evaluation, tenure, and grievance procedures; and faculty duties, responsibilities, compensation and benefits. It should thus be used as a reference when questions arise in any of these areas.
