Thursdays, 7:00 - 9:30pm FA143 L. Pressley, Director

In celebration of 10 years, the Concert Choir performed Handel's Messiah with a orchestra and soloists including Paula FitGerald, soprano, Deltrina Grimes, mezzo soprano, Brian Donahue, tenor, and Ronald Weixall, bass on December 9th and 10th, 2006.

This past spring the Concert Choir continued it's celebration of 10 years with a regional tour over four weeks. The program included works selected by the singers from the past concert seasons including an 8 part choral of Mendelssohn and 14 part works of Eric Whitacre. Various American folk songs and spirituals was also included.

College Credit

You can receive college credit as a member of the Concert Choir. Each is offered as a one credit course through CSM. Concert Choir is MUS 1040- Chorale I to MUS 1043- Choral IV. In total you could receive up to 4 credits if you register for all four levels of Concert Choir. These courses are offered every Fall and Spring Semester.
