Maryland Native, Deanna Bogart began her career sidelining for local Washington groups such as Cowboy Jazz and Root Boy Slim. Fifteen years ago she started her own band, combining the sounds of blues, jazz, swings and soul into a unique and unforgettable concoction of musical fusion. Winner of twenty Wammies (Washington Area Music Awards) Deanna’s electrifying stage presence is hard to miss.}
- June 24, 25, 26 SIMPLE GIFTS FOLK MUSIC TRIO
Twelve instruments, three women and one really good time. Linda Littleton, Rachel Hall and Karen Hirshon, founders of Simple Gifts Folk Music Trio, switch seamlessly between two violins, concertina, mandolin, banjolin, recorders, bowed psaltery, hammered dulcimer, baritone fiddle, guitar, piano, and percussion to create a unique and soothing sound of modern innovation and traditional folk music.

- July 15, 16, 17 TARNISHED SIX DIXIELAND BAND
Since 1967 the Tarnished Six Dixieland Band has studied and played the traditional sounds of jazz. Now with an active tune list of over 200 songs the band is able to please anyone’s style and taste. A delightful combination of loose 20’s, big band 30’s, blues, and easy New Orleans, the T-6 is a smooth easy list.
- July 22, 23, 24 SALSAMBA LATIN JAZZ
The Salsamba Latin Jazz Quintet is the combination of classic American Jazz and spicy sounds of Cuba, Brazil and the Caribbean. Most of the bands music is original, written and composed by leader and guitarist Eric Susoeff. The group has opened for such artists as the late lain jazz king, Tito Puente, guitarist John Scofield and Stanley Jordan, steel pan player Andy Narell as well as flutist Dave Valentin.
- July 29, 30, 31 BARNSTORMERS
Old time American Folk Music, the toe tapping, high energy, spoon rattling music from summers spent on the back porch. The Barnstormers, Tom Jolin and Slim Harrison team up playing hand made dulcimers and banjos. Combing with the sound of the fiddles, harmonica, button accordion, guitar and vocals Tom and Slim will take you on a whirl wind trip through time.
