Continuing Education Program: Dental Assisting
Are you interested in working in a dental office? The college offers a two year start on a four year degree in Dental Hygiene. Take the general education courses at CSM and transfer to a four-year school to complete your training.

Courses
Specific admission requirements
Students are required to provide proof of immunization status, a completed health form, and a criminal background check at the student's expense. Students may be required to provide proof of health insurance and a negative drug screen at the request of agencies and at the student's expense.
Registrants in Chairside Dental Assisting (HTH-7280):
- Must have a Tuberculosis clearance.
Registrants for Oral Radiography (HTH-7380):
- Must be 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma.
- Present documentation from a dentist verifying employment, verified work experience of at least 3 months, and a commitment of clinical supervision.
- Must document freedom from Tuberculosis and complete other health forms.
