Program: Phlebotomy Technician - Letter of Recognition
A Phlebotomy Technician is trained in blood collection and often assists in the collection and transportation of other specimens (such as urine, tissues, and sputum). The Phlebotomist may work in a physician's office, laboratory, medical center, or hospital. The job outlook for certified Phlebotomy Technician is excellent.

Specific admissions requirements
This may be a competitive admissions program determined by student : instructor ratios and clinical space available. Students are required to provide proof of immunization status, a completed health form, and a criminal background check at the student's expense. Students may be required to provide proof of health insurance and a negative drug screen at the request of agencies and at the student's expense.
