Program: Physical Therapy Aide Letter of Recognition
This course work prepares students to work as physical therapy aides in hospitals, private practice, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation units, or nursing homes. Content includes basic patient care and patient handling, the role of the physical therapy aide, effective communication, workplace safety, knowledge of medical terminology, and basic physical therapy aide skills.

Specific admissions requirements
Students are required to provide proof of immunization status, a completed health form, and a criminal background check at the student’s expense. Students may be required to provide proof of health insurance and a negative drug screen at the request of agencies and at the student’s expense.
