The Sun Certified Associate for the Java Platform, Standard Edition certification exam provides an ideal entry into an application development or a software project management career using Java technologies. This worldwide credential validates basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts, UML representation of OO concepts, the Java programming language, and general knowledge of Java Platforms and Technologies.

Prerequisites: None.

Other exams/assignments required for this certification: None.

Number of Questions: 51

Passing Score: 68% (35 of 51 questions)

Question Format: Multiple choice and Drag and Drop

Time limit: 115 minutes

The CSM Testing Center offers the Sun Certified Associate for Java Platform, Standard Edition, Exam Version 1.0.

The Testing Center at the CSM La Plata Campus is the only Pearson VUE authorized test center in Southern Maryland.
