The Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 5.0 certification is for programmers experienced using the Java programming language. Achieving this certification provides clear evidence that a programmer understands the basic syntax and structure of the Java programming language and can create Java technology applications that run on server and desktop systems using J2SE 5.0.

Exam: Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 (CX-310-055)

Prerequisites: None.

Other exams/assignments required for this certification: None.

Number of Questions: 72

Passing Score : 59% (43 of 72 questions)

Question Format: Multiple choice and Drag and Drop

Time limit: 175 minutes

The CSM Testing Center offers the Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 exam.

The Testing Center at the CSM La Plata Campus is the only Pearson VUE authorized test center in Southern Maryland.
