Join students from other
community colleges in

participate in a full day group volunteer project in the

As
part of the training, all participants will spend Wednesday
volunteering with the Jones Falls Watershed
Association. This is a big project - perfect
for a
lot of people. Work will include invasive plant
removal along Towson University Creek (Vines can smother
and kill trees. Save some trees and
have fun—no experience
necessary. Training will be provided).
The first day is made up of
team building and leadership sessions. The second day
consists of a full day group volunteer project with the
Jones Falls
Watershed Association. While the third
day focuses on how to utilize leadership skills back in
your own community.

Guest rooms are dorm-style. Participants will be staying in two or four double occupancy bedrooms and one or two baths, respectively
with other conference participants. You will have the option of submitting your roommate preference on the registration form. Additional

will need to arrange their own transportation to the

Registration is now available, interested participants can register either online or by mail. Participants must be students of a community college for
the fall to participate, unfortunately recent graduates are not permitted. Registration fees are $175 (see above). Please check with your Student Life
Department or Service-Learning Office to see if they are subsidizing this trip.
In addition to the registration forms, each participant needs to return a signed copy of the Code of Conduct Form.
