Partnerships
CSM has partnership agreements with four year universities including:
Capitol College
Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering
University of Maryland, College Park
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Students can now transfer to the University of Maryland A. James Clark School of Engineering and take most of their junior and senior year engineering courses in Southern Maryland through CSM's new partnership agreement with the University of Maryland, the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), the Indian Head Naval Surface Warfare Center (IHNSWC), and the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center (SMHEC). Students who qualify for cooperative education positions at NAWCAD or IHNSWC will receive tuition support from the Navy for their junior and senior years and will work at the Navy installations when classes are not in session.

Mission Statement:
The Division of Mathematics, Physics and Engineering empowers students in their personal, academic, and professional lives by expanding their knowledge of mathematics and the sciences. Course offerings include developmental, transitional, and college-level courses. Developmental and transitional courses are designed to improve students' likelihood for success in college-level mathematics. College-level courses can satisfy general education requirements for academic degrees or provide specialization aimed at transfer preparation.
