BUS-7880 - Individual and Small Business Tax Preparation

Each year, around 56% of taxpayers rely on paid preparers to file their returns. This course can help you start a career in tax preparation, earn extra income on the side or simply save money by preparing your own returns. You will learn how to prepare most individual and business tax returns as per the latest IRS regulations. Topics covered include the form 1040 and all associated tax credits, deductions, dependents, and income, as well as tax saving tips and paid preparer ethics. All course information is based on the previous tax year, and students will receive a tax law update once the IRS announces all changes for the next tax season. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion and a record of credits will be sent to the IRS. Textbooks included.
