HOW WILL YOU HELP YOUR COMMUNITY?

The Center for Civic Engagement and Service-Learning works to strengthen the community through experiences centered on service-learning, volunteerism, and civic engagement.
The departmental mission essentially addresses two needs by facilitating:

- Quality service-learning opportunities that allows students to meet their learning
objectives through service to their community and reflection, and

- A service that connects community members with opportunities to volunteer.
The center offers ongoing support to faculty, students, and non-profit partners,
professional development opportunities (training and technical assistance), and
specialized leadership and service programming for students.
We offer a variety of programs both in class and outside of class.
