Resume/Cover Letter Assistance

Reviewing Resume

Your resume is a marketing tool that tells a potential employer how your qualifications, skills, and accomplishments are a match for the specific position at that company. A well written, error free resume will often lead to an interview. Add a well written cover letter to the application process and you’ve done everything possible to present yourself as a strong candidate for the job.

Since employers will spend less than one minute reviewing your resume and cover letter, let Career Services help make those seconds count. We’ll review your documents and provide feedback. Found a job announcement? Bring it along and we’ll help you tailor your resume to the specific job.

Interview Tips

Woman at an Interview

Practice, practice, practice. Every interview question is an opportunity to showcase your skills and abilities and to let the potential employer know you are the right person for the job. Career Counselors can explain the purpose of some of the most commonly asked interview questions and help you practice answering these questions so when the real time comes, you are prepared. They'll also provide guidance on what to wear and how to emit a professional presence.
