Smoking Cessation Resources

CSM will be smoke-, tobacco-, and vape-free January 1, 2017

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Call toll-free 888-456-1324: The college’s Employee Assistance Program through Ceridian LifeWorks provides free, confidential help with personal and work-related issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call LifeWorks to speak to a consultant or visit their website at (User ID=csmd; Password=lifeworks) for additional information and assistance. Call Jen Rupp for more information, ext. 4714.

Free Smoking Cessation Classes

  • Charles County Health Department offers free 10-week sessions in April/September. Pre-registration required. Call 301-609-6932 for class details or to request a Smoking Quit Packet.
  • Mary's County Health Department offers free 8-week one-hour sessions on Tuesdays along with free medication to help you quit. Call 301-475-4330 or 301-475-4074 to enroll in class. (Upcoming Tuesday Sessions: March 14 - May 2)
  • Calvert County Health Department offers free comprehensive 8-week program. Call 410-535-5400, ext. 359 for details and registration.
