Free tutoring is offered in a variety of subjects including English, Math, and Biology. In addition to face-to-face tutoring, online tutoring services in the areas of Math, writing, ESL, accounting, economics, and chemistry are available in cooperation with Smarthinking. The Nursing Programs Outreach Advisor assists preclinical nursing students in identifying and accessing services necessary to support student success. The Nursing Programs Outreach Advisor acts as a mentor and advisor. Students are provided with information about the petition process, ACT/SAT test dates, registration and preparation for the ACT and SAT tests, BSN options including the University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) Dual Admissions program, and assistance with course planning among other things.
