Testing Center

The Testing Centers at the La Plata, Leonardtown, and Prince Frederick campuses provide many testing services.  Entry-level assessment of basic skills is provided through the college's placement program.  Students may earn credit through DSST (formerly Dantes), CLEP, and departmental examinations.  The La Plata Testing Center offers professional certification exams through Pearson Vue, Castle, and Certiport as well as computer-based GED testing.  The La Plata campus serves as a test site for national exams including the ACT, SAT, LSAT, PRAXIS and ParaPro.

You must always bring a picture ID to the Testing Center. Without a picture ID tests will not be given.
