Costs
The travel costs cover:
- RT airfare between DC and Belize City
- RT airfare between Belize City and San Pedro
All meals and room at TREC in San Pedro- Boat and lab fees at TREC
- RT travel and transfers to Mayan archaeological sites and San Ignacio
- Room, board and excursion fees in San Ignacio
- Airport departure tax
Costs not included:
- Passport
- CSM tuition/fees
- Text
- Optional SCUBA dives
- Mask/fins/snorkel
- Camera/film
- Anything else not on list above
SCUBA diving is available to officially certified participants at an extra cost (approximately $30-$40/dive), but SCUBA is NOT required for the courses. Underwater activities are conducted by skin diving with mask, fins, and snorkel. (Skin diving instruction is available for novice divers).
