Beginning the week of July 7, 2008, the swimming pool in the La Plata PE Center will be closing to complete required safety and maintenance modifications. Work is expected to be completed within approximately five weeks, and will include resurfacing the interior pool shell, including the floor and walls, which will provide a much smoother surface, replacing the underwater lighting, and repairing the gutter system.
