Description:
Prerequisite: 46 or Taller The objective of Level I is to help students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely. In Level I, elementary aquatic skills are taught, which students build on as they progress through the Learn To Swim program. At this level, students also start developing good attitudes and safe practices around the water. Some students will have some experience with the water and may begin the program at a higher level. Only registered students may be in the pool area during swim classes. Spectators may view classes in the observation room in the PE building.
