About Us
The Writing Centers at the College
of Southern Maryland
offer writing assistance for all members of the campus communities. By
providing guidance for students and help for faculty in developing effective
writing assignments, the writing centers help foster an environment for writing
across the curriculum.
Writing Centers are located on all four campuses with tutors available at
various times. Students may also submit
their papers on-line through the web site.
Each Writing Center provides help with all levels of
the writing process from the development of ideas to strategies for revision
and advice for properly documenting sources. The writing assistants are trained
to work with all levels of student ability and to encourage students to become
better writers.
