Thirteen outstanding scholarly and creative works by CSM students have won Social Justice Week Scholarship awards totaling over $4,000!

 

2021 competition Theme: Social Justice in Crisis

CSM's 2021 Social Justice Week Scholarship Awardees produced impressive work in academic research, literary arts, and the visual and performing arts, exploring the interplay between the COVID-19 global pandemic and the lived experience of people disparately impacted by the virus.

PRIZES

Judges awarded scholarships in all three categories:

  • First Prize: $700 Scholarship
  • Second Prize: $500 Scholarship
  • Third Prize: $200 Scholarship

An additional $500 Grand Prize scholarship will be awarded to one of the three First Prize winners. The Grand Prize winner will be announced in May.
