The Institutional Equity and Diversity Department handles complaints of discrimination.

The College of Southern Maryland prohibits harassment of its employees, students, or visitors based on gender, sexual orientation, race, age, color, religion, disability, marital status, or national origin and prohibits retaliation against those who allege such harassment.

Charges of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation must be made in writing to the Associate Vice President, Institutional Equity and Diversity Department.
