Talking about the “T” in LGBTQIA: Understanding Transgender Concerns

Sean Lare, LCSW-C, a clinician and consultant specializing in LGBTQIA-affirmative therapy, will help participants develop an in-depth understanding of the differences between biological/natal sex, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation, and why these distinctions matter. Participants will also learn about unique challenges for individuals who are transgender, and how they can support transgender and gender non-conforming people.
