Affinity Groups

Monthly Executive Director Learning Circles and Roundtables bring leadership together to meet and discuss operational concerns and share lessons learned. Other Affinity Groups serve as networking events and provide a congenial setting for informal sharing of information and ideas about developments in the nonprofit community and professional challenges.

Faith-Based Affinity Group

These meetings promote ways faith-based nonprofit organizations can help each other to include: sharing information on events so each can support one another, partnering on common interests, sharing resources of support, networking, and increased awareness on community concerns and issues to rally collaborative efforts. Public Relations / Marketing Professionals Network

The Public Relations / Marketing Professionals Network meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Anyone involved with PR, marketing, communications and/or promotions is welcome. Southern Maryland Veterans Support Coalition (SMVSC)

This group's focus is to assist the Southern Maryland veteran support groups by providing a mechanism to help identify the different organizations in the region and to promote collaborative informational meetings to support each other's missions and needs. This group has also developed a comprehensive resource of network of support veteran organizations that assist veterans and their families. The next meeting is Thursday, June 7, 4 p.m. via teleconference. Teleconference information will be sent a week before the meeting.  For more information, contact Barbara Ives: bives@csmd.edu.
