Government Shutdown Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance may be available for students impacted by the government shutdown

If you are a CSM student and you or your family are having a financial hardship as a result of the government shutdown, you may be eligible for tuition assistance.

The College of Southern Maryland wants to help students continue their studies without interruption and prevent students from being dropped from their courses for nonpayment. Tuition assistance is available for students who have been adversely impacted by the government shutdown and are currently enrolled in credit or eligible non-credit programs.

If you have questions or need more information, please contact our Information Hotline: 301-934-7762

To determine eligibility, apply today. Applications for tuition assistance will be reviewed and awarded on a first come, first served basis.
