Payment Plan (Non-credit)

Continuing Education Class

We are pleased to offer the non-credit monthly payment plan.  

We make paying for college easier with the CSM monthly payment plan, a convenient, interest-free way to budget your expenses. This is not a loan program, so there is no credit check.

Monthly payments can be made in person at a convenient campus location, online through your my.CSMD account or can be mailed to: College of Southern Maryland, Student Account Services, PO Box 2928, La Plata, MD 20646.

How to Sign Up for the New Payment Plan

  1. Log into
  2. Click on “Online Services” followed by “Current Students.”
  3. Agree to the financial terms and conditions, then click in “myServices”
  4. Go into the “Student Finance” section, click on “Make a Payment”
  5. Click on the blue “Create Payment Plan” icon and follow the instructions for the payment plan application.

Important Information Regarding the New Payment Plan

  • Students are responsible to make payments each month through Online Services or in person. The down payment and monthly payments will NOT be automatically withdrawn.
  • Students have 48 hours after registering for courses to enroll on a payment plan to avoid being dropped.
  • The down payment and the $50 non-refundable enrollment fee are required at the time you enroll in the payment plan.
  • To be eligible, your total charges for tuition and fees for the term must total $500 or more.
  • Your payment plan will automatically adjust with your student account changes including schedule adjustments, additional payments, waiver/billing changes and financial aid awards.
  • If monthly payments are not made on the agreed date, then a $25 late payment fee will be assessed.
  • Enrollment in the CSM Payment Plan will hold your courses as long as the down payment is made and all monthly payments are current.
  • The payment plan will automatically cancel if a student drops all courses for the semester within the refund period.  A non-refundable enrollment fee will be charged for each new payment plan enrollment.
