Make the most of your winter break this year and earn additional credits in just four-weeks. This intensive session offers more than 30 courses to choose from and is the perfect opportunity to get ahead or explore an area of interest.

Students enrolled in the Winter Session will have access to the services and resources listed below.

Resources for Winter Session Students

During the Winter Session, the following help is available online from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with the exception of being closed on December 24, December 25, December 31, and January 1.

Note: CSM campuses will close for Winter Break at 3 p.m. on December 20 and will reopen on January 2.

IT Help Desk

The Help Desk is a single point of contact for all CSM technology-related services. We offer free support services to CSM students, faculty and staff who need assistance with any of CSM's computing, network, and internet resources. 

Online Learning (myLearning)

The online learning platform is called myLearning.  All courses use myLearning to post syllabi, take attendance, and post grades.

  • For immediate assistance, you can use the myLearning Help button to chat or call a representative 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The button is on the myLearning homepage and on the homepage of each course.

If you are experiencing issues with my.CSMD, you can access myLearning through a “back-door” site at and login using your my.CSMD username and password.

Learning Support: 24/7 Online Tutoring

Students have access to tutoring support with ThinkingStorm 24/7 during the Winter Session. Students create and access their free ThinkingStorm account by visiting the learning support website. If you need assistance accessing ThinkingStorm, contact the Help Desk at
