BUS-9580 Real Estate Principles and Practices for Salesperson License

This intensive 60-hour course meets Maryland state requirements for pre-licensing education prior to taking the state license exam for real estate salespersons. All topics relevant to the industry and the state exam will be covered in detail. The Maryland Real Estate Commission requires all students to attend all hours of each commission-approved course. Upon successful completion of the course, the candidate may sit for the Maryland Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Exam. The college does not administer the licensure examination for salespersons or brokers. Upon successful completion of the pre-licensing course, candidates' names will be submitted to Psychological Systems, Inc. (PSI). PSI is the authorized testing service for this exam. PSI will notify qualified candidates of the date, time, and location of the examination via email. Examinations will be offered each regular business day at test centers. Textbooks required.
