Transfer Appeals Process

If you have an appeal to credits that were transferred in, please follow the transfer appeal procedure listed below:

  1. The student wishing to appeal a transfer evaluation should do so within two weeks of receipt of evaluation. Contact the transcript evaluator:

  2. The student wishing to appeal the decision of the transcript evaluator (after following the above) must do so in writing within two weeks of denial of credits. This written appeal should be addressed to the following:

  3. The assistant director of transfer services will confer with the student, the transcript evaluator, and any appropriate academic chairperson(s). The student will be notified of the decision in writing within two weeks of the appeal.

  4. The student who wishes to appeal the decision of the assistant director of transfer services must do so in writing within two weeks to the vice president of academic affairs. This written appeal should be addressed to the following:

  5. The vice president will review the documentation of the assistant director of transfer services and will notify the student in writing of the decision within two weeks of receipt of the appeal. The decision of the vice president is final.
