University of Baltimore Transfer Agreement

The University of Baltimore offers career-focused education for aspiring and current professionals, providing the region with highly educated leaders who make distinctive contributions to the broader community. 

Articulated Program Requirements:

  • Guaranteed admissions for CSM students who have:
    • Earned any CSM Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts in Teaching, Associate of Science in Engineering, or Associate of Applied Science degree.
    • Submit the UB Application for Admission at least six months prior to the start of the semester they wish to transfer to the University of Baltimore.
    • Satisfy all UB admission requirements.
    • Graduate from CSM with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
    • Enroll in UB within one year of graduating from CSM without attending another institution of higher education.
    • Understand that some degree programs have additional admission criteria and that admission to UB does not guarantee admission to a specific program. 
  • For the Business Administration Articulation Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Graduate from CSM with an associate's degree in Business Management, Accounting or Business Administration with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
  • For the B.S. in Corporate Communication Articulation Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Graduate from CSM with an Associate of Arts in General Studies: Communications.
  • For the B.A. in English Articulation Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Graduate from CSM with an Associate of Arts in General Studies: Arts and Sciences.
  • For the B.S. in Health Systems Management Articulation Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Graduate from CSM with an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant.
    • Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA in order to transfer at the 56 credit level or higher. 

Articulated Program Benefits:

  • Guaranteed admission is available for both full and part-time students. 
  • For the Business Administration Articulation Agreement
    • CSM students may complete the additional 60 credits to earn a Bachelor's degree by the University of Baltimore within two years and physically within the southern Maryland region. 
  • For the For the B.S. in Corporate Communication Articulation Agreement,
    • Full-time University of Baltimore undergraduate students may - with permission - take one course each term at the Maryland Institute College of Art. 
    • Exceptional University of Baltimore students may - before reaching 90 credits toward graduation - apply for admission into the University of Baltimore's accelerated bachelor's-master's program.
  • For the B.A. in English Articulation Agreement,
    • Full-time University of Baltimore undergraduate students may - with permission - take one course each term at the Maryland Institute College of Art. 
    • Exceptional University of Baltimore students may - before reaching 90 credits toward graduation - apply for admission into the University of Baltimore's accelerated bachelor's-master's program.
