Register Now for Spring Semester and January Term!

It is still not too late to register for the 2016 Spring Semester and January Term courses! Academic advisors are available to help you plan your semesters.

Upcoming Academic Terms and Minisessions:

  • January Term: January 6 - January 20 (15-day session)
  • Spring Semester (Full Term): January 25 - May 10 (15-week full term)
  • Spring Minisession I: January 25 - March 15 (7-week minisession)
  • Spring Minisession II: March 28 - May 12 (7-week minisession)

Find Your Program of Study on the New Website!

Having difficulty finding your program of study on the new website? Follow these three easy steps:

  1. Visit the main web page and select Programs and Courses
  2. Select Credit and Degree Programs.
  3. Click Academic Catalog on a list on the left navigation bar.

On this page, you can also find the schedule of classes, the general education requirements list, guaranteed transfer agreements, graduation information, and more!

Need to “Audit” or “Withdraw From” a Course this Semester?

Academic Advisor

The deadline to audit or withdraw from a course is coming up fast. Be sure to keep the date below in mind if you are concerned about your grades affecting your transcript or GPA.

  • December 2: Last date to audit or withdraw from a 2015 Fall Minisession II (7-week minisession) class.

Note: If you are using financial assistance or veteran’s benefits, please check with those offices first before withdrawing from a course. Withdrawing could have an impact on future financial assistance and VA benefits.



CSM College Store

Textbook Buyback and Book Rentals

Textbook Buyback is going on December 8-11 and 14-16. Students may sell used books and supplemental materials back to the CSM College Stores on each campus. The college store does not buy back study guides, workbooks, or books containing CDs, DVDs, flash drives, or access codes. Your college ID is required. Visit the CSM College Store website for more information.

The last day to return book rentals is Friday, December 18.

New Transcript Fee

Beginning Monday, October 12, the CSM credit transcript will cost $5 per transcript. You may now request that your transcript be sent by e-mail (processed in a secure PDF format that will be received within minutes of the request). A student who requests that his/her transcript be mailed will have the request fulfilled within twenty-four hours, and a student may still request a transcript for pickup at any of our campus locations. Please note that students requesting Continuing Education transcripts will not be charged.

Fitness Centers: All students taking three or more credits have free access to the fitness facilities at all CSM campuses. View the current schedule for available hours at the campus closest to you!
