Winter is fast approaching, and with the season will come inclement weather and the chance for delayed openings, early closings, and full closings. CSM’s decision to alter the normal operating procedures is based on the safety of the students, staff, and faculty.

Once a decision is made, the news is communicated to the CSM community as quickly as possible using the methods below:

  • CSM.TXT - This alert service will send instant alerts to your cell phone via text or via e-mail. Registration is free. All text messaging fees will apply. For information or to register, visit

  • School’s Out Notification - This service provides e-mail notification of closings and delayed openings. Register at

Massage Student Clinic

Sign Up for a Free Massage at the
La Plata Campus

Massage student clinics provide an opportunity for students at all skill levels to practice and gain knowledge in a supervised clinical setting.
If you are available to receive massage and will provide feedback on student skills as appropriate to a learning environment, you may submit your massage pre-screening form online to the clinic coordinator.
You must be:

  • 18 years or older to sign up
  • Faculty, staff, or a current student
  • Able to provide documentation of
current status before a massage will
    be provided (no exceptions)

Appointments may be scheduled after a pre-screening form is submitted from the student clinic web site and reviewed by a clinic instructor. Due to the student clinic’s overwhelming popularity, this may take some time. Please be patient, as appointments are scheduled in the order in which they are received.
