MTAP/TAES Information Session
November 29
2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
La Plata Campus, Center for Business and Industry (BI Building), Room 009
Leonardtown Campus, Building A, Room 208
Prince Frederick Campus, Flagship Building, Room 108.

Planning to transfer to the University of Maryland, College Park for Fall 2017? Don't miss out on this two-in-one information session!

College Park will be conducting an information session for the Transfer Academic Excellence Scholarship (TAES). This highly competitive scholarship offers transfer students full tuition for four consecutive semesters. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of overall academic achievement, demonstrated potential for community leadership, quality of the written essay, and their recommendations. If selected as a finalist, a personal interview will then be conducted. This session will inform you how to make yourself more competitive for this most-sought-after scholarship at College Park. Every year, at least two students from CSM have been recipients of this scholarship.

In addition to presenting TAES to the students, College Park will give information on how to apply for the Maryland Transfer Advantage Program (MTAP). MTAP guarantees acceptance into the university if students complete certain requirements.

North Carolina A&T University Day
November 30

Members of their admissions, financial aid, student life, and academic departments will be available to discuss why North Carolina A&T University is the right fit for you. Any student who plans to transfer in 2017 will receive a waiver for the application fee.
