Save Bucks on Books

Save Bucks on Books

Don’t run the risk of obtaining the wrong books for your classes through discount web sites. Buying your textbooks from the CSM College Store is the best way to ensure you have the right books for your classes. If you do need to save bucks on your books this semester, check out the solutions below:

Financial Assistance
Log into my.CSMD to see if you have additional financial assistance available after tuition and fees are paid. If funds are available, you can use those funds at the College Store toward required books and supplies until September 18, with a valid CSM Student ID.

Used or Rented Textbooks
At the CSM College Store, you can choose to purchase a used textbook at a discounted rate, rent a textbook, or buy digital format of the textbook. Be sure to visit the College Store exactly 10 days prior to class if you are interested in this option because the used books selection is the first to be depleted.

Students Helping Students
If the options above are not enough, visit your student success coordinator, an academic advisor, or the Financial Assistance Department at the campus near you to obtain a "Students Helping Students" grant request form. If approved, you may receive enough funding to obtain textbooks for your classes.

Keep in mind, the College Store at each campus offers a discount day where you can purchase your books for 10% off before the semester begins! Check out the CSM College Store website for more information.
