Grad Fest is Coming Up

Are you ready to graduate? Are you finishing up your last semester at CSM? Don’t let the important dates pass you by! Whether you choose to participate in commencement or not, you need to meet with an advisor or go to Grad Fest so you can apply for graduation.

At this one-stop-shop for graduates, you can:

  • Meet with an advisor to apply for graduation
  • Learn all about the commencement ceremony
  • Enter to win a prize basket
  • Pose for a free portrait in a cap and gown

The priority deadline for submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), to be considered for federal and state financial assistance during the 2019-2020 academic year, is March 1. Any student planning to apply for the Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship must complete the FAFSA by March 1

Spring Forward with Accelerated Courses

Are you interested in graduating sooner? Add a Spring 12-week Session or Spring Minisession II course to your current course load! These accelerated sessions will help you spring forward on your degree completion. The Spring 12-week Session begins February 11, and Spring Minisession II begins March 25.

Dates to Remember for Spring

Spring Semester ends May 13 and March 27 is the last day to withdraw or change to audit/credit without a grade.

Spring Minisession I ends March 10 and February 25 is the last day to withdraw or change to audit/credit without a grade.

Spring 12-week Session begins February 11 and ends May 13. April 8 is the last day to withdraw or change to audit/credit without a grade.

Spring Minisession II begins March 25 and ends May 13. April 29 will be the last day to withdraw or change to audit/credit without a grade.

1098-T Tax Form Now Available

1098-T Tax Form Now Available

The 1098-T tax forms for use in filing 2018 taxes are now available.

To view your 1098-T electronically, click here, then log in using your my.CSMD username and password to access your account.

Beginning Spring 2019, all College of Southern Maryland credit students will have an e-mail account and access to Microsoft Office 365 (O365). This e-mail address will become your official means of communication with the college later this year.

The tools you need to achieve
Using your student e-mail, you’ll automatically be granted access to O365. This subscription allows you to create, communicate, and collaborate using the latest Microsoft Office apps available on all of your devices.

Paying for college does not have to be the toughest part of completing your degree. The CSM Online Scholarship Finder is opening soon for the 2019-2020 academic year for new and current students!

Steps to Scholarships

  • Apply to CSM
  • Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Complete the CSM Online Scholarship Finder application
  • Be auto-matched with relevant scholarships

Priority deadline for Scholarship Finder is March 31 and closes on April 28 so, check early and check often. Apply early for best consideration.
