Big Thanks to All our Veterans

Big Thanks to All our Veterans

Gov. Larry Hogan has declared 2019 to be the year of the military veteran, and CSM is happy to pay tribute to our military students and families. We want to show our veterans a small token of appreciation for their service by encouraging our entire campus community to participate in several events for the remainder of the academic year.

First, we want to kick off the year of celebrations by wearing purple on April 22 to honor these local heroes. Purple is the symbol of bravery and when we wear it in April, we are honoring the military child and dependent. We’ll be giving away free t-shirts, while supplies last, starting on April 8 at the following locations:

  • La Plata Campus: Student Services Desk, Administration (AD) Building, Main Lobby
  • Leonardtown Campus: Welcome Desk, Building C, Main Lobby
  • Prince Frederick Campus: Advising Lab, Building B, Room 203

Next, we are offering priority registration on April 22 for the Fall Semester 2019 to all military service members and dependents. CSM wants to thank all active duty military, veterans, and their dependents who choose to further their educational goals on our campuses.
