BK Building - The Bookstore Building

With a central location on the La Plata Campus, the Bookstore Building houses the CSM College Store. The store’s three levels offer gifts, books, apparel, school supplies, and computer software, as well as new and used textbooks. Stop by Hawks Hideaway for ice cream, fresh baked cookies, snacks, gourmet coffee, and soft drinks.

CE Building - Community Education Building

CE was one of the three original buildings of the campus that later became CSM. It is now a 48,00 square foot building with 18 classrooms, computers labs and conference rooms.

CL Building - St. Charles Children's Learning Center

The St. Charles Children's Learning Center is CSM's childcare and safe learning environment for the children of students, faculty, staff and the community. The CLC opened in January 2006 and can accommodate 115 children.

CS Building - Campus Services Building

Take driver education classes or sign up for certificate for a motorcycle license or Commercial Driver License. While motorcycle and CDL training sign-up is in the CS building, the actual courses are taught at CSM’s Center for Transportation Training on Radio Station Road in La Plata.

FA Building - Fine Arts Center

HT Building - James C. Mitchell Center for Health Technology

HT is a building dedicated to science, from anatomy to biology to nursing skills. Its classrooms and laboratories offer the tools to train tomorrow’s scientists and health care providers.

PE Building - Physical Education Center

PE offers a variety of fitness options to students, faculty and the community. You can take classes, work with a personal trainer, or just use the fitness center facilities on your own schedule.

Fitness Center
Enjoy a comfortable, “no-fuss” exercise alternative. Take part in cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training activities in our newly updated state-of-the-art Fitness Center.

Gymnasium
The gymnasium is open to students for classes and during supervised open gym hours.

Pool
Swimming classes are available for all ages, as well as lifeguard training, basic SCUBA and therapeutic aquatic instruction. Pool membership is available for non-students, faculty, and staff. The pool is open free of charge to credit students with a valid CSM student ID.

Tennis Courts
The tennis courts are open to all students when not in use by a class or by the CSM tennis teams.

Wellness Center
The Wellness Center encourages the development of healthy lifestyles through fitness assessments, body composition analysis, and other health related screenings. Education programs are offered on health related topics.
Students, staff, faculty and community members are encouraged to stop by for handouts, brochures, and other wellness information
