Cyber Ethics

Description:

Students consider the safe and ethical use of the internet. They review the basics of computers and discuss the role of the internet in today's society, cyber protection issues and the rules and regulations that govern cyber ethics. Topics to be included are: privacy, intellectual property, pornography, online gambling, codes of conduct and internet ethics for children. In addition, students consider how the anonymous nature of the internet makes it difficult to transfer our standard rules of ethics to this virtual environment.
