Description:
Through the use of applied nursing and mathematics content, prospective students interested in a nursing career will have the opportunity to obtain skills needed to achieve their educational goals. Topics include identification of learning style, critical thinking and problem solving, communica- tion skills, study strategies, reading and comprehension, medical terminology, and mathematical calculations for nursing. Students experience application of these topics through nursing lectures and campus labs.
