What is Tech Prep?
Tech Prep coordinates high school and community college programs, assuring that graduates acquire the technical knowledge and skills required in today's complex workplace.
Tech Prep students complete a planned sequence of courses in high school. These courses are articulated with programs at CSM.
Credit may be applied toward a certificate or an associate's degree at CSM and may be eligible for transfer to a four-year college to complete a bachelor's degree.
Who can participate?
High school students in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's Counties can participate in Tech Prep. You can begin taking Tech Prep courses in your sophomore year of high school, which will be completed by the end of your senior year.
