CSM Connector, operated by VanGO, provides free bus service between the tri-county transportation hub in Charlotte Hall, the Regional Hughesville Campus, and the La Plata Campus.

We're Here for You.

We’re here to help connect you with resources to overcome insecurity and hardship involving food, housing, transportation, and other basic needs. We can assist you with things like:

  • Applying for public benefit programs
  • "Help a Hawk" emergency cash grants
  • Housing and utility assistance
  • Other community or public support

Heroin and Opioid Addiction, Prevention, and Training

CSM is committed to educating students about the dangers of heroin and opioid addiction. Heroin and opioid-related deaths have increased drastically in recent years and is the leading cause of death in Maryland’s young adult population.

Lactation/Nursing Areas

Lactation areas at our three campuses offer working and student mothers private, clean, and calm places to pump breast milk or nurse a baby. All lactation spaces are cleaned daily, and hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes allow mothers to clean before and after their personal use.
