Additional Tools

There are a variety of resources that can be helpful for students looking to find their paths:

Launch Your Job Search

Finding the right job can seem like a daunting task. We have the resources to help you narrow your search and find the right job for you.

Your resume is a marketing tool that tells a potential employer how your qualifications, skills, and accomplishments are a match for the specific position at that company. A well written, error free resume will often lead to an interview. Add a well written cover letter to the application process and you’ve done everything possible to present yourself as a strong candidate for the job.

Since employers will spend less than one minute reviewing your resume and cover letter, let us help make those seconds count. We’ll review your documents and provide feedback. Found a job announcement? Bring it along and we’ll help you tailor your resume to the specific job.

Practice, practice, practice. Every interview question is an opportunity to showcase your skills and abilities and to let the potential employer know you are the right person for the job. Academic and career advisors can explain the purpose of some of the most commonly asked interview questions and help you practice answering these questions so when the real time comes, you are prepared. They'll also provide guidance on what to wear and how to emit a professional presence.
