Are you interested in a career that allows you to earn a living wage? Do you prefer hands-on training that provides job skills? Then, the Hospitality Management career starter programs are perfect. Get the job skills to qualify for entry-level employment in the hospitality management business.

Job Training

We offer continuing education classes and seminars to help you learn job skills that you can apply right away. Classes begin throughout the year and are available at our campuses and training centers, and other locations throughout southern Maryland. And if finding the time to attend regular scheduled classes is a challenge, you can choose to take online courses through our Ed2Go program or self-paced classes through the OFT/OFC program. Both of these distance learning formats allow you to complete coursework when it is most convenient for you.

If you are looking to prove your skills to your employer, but don't have the time to commit to earning a degree, our Continuing Education Certificate programs are for you. These programs are highly focused on the skills you need to be successful in a variety of subject areas. These programs are also great for students that are considering earning a degree, but would like to try a few courses before making that commitment. Some of these classes may even be applied to your degree program in the future. Students that complete these programs are awarded Continuing Education Certificates from the College of Southern Maryland.

We also offer group training, and customized training and services through the CSM Corporate Center. The Corporate Center specializes in working with companies, DoD, and individuals.

Personal Enrichment

Do you have a hobby or area of interest that you'd like to explore? "Realize you" through our personal enrichment classes. We offer classes for students of all ages, from Kids' College programs for children as young as 5 years old, to Adult Plus classes for students 50 and better. Subject areas include arts, cooking, languages, money management, swimming and athletics, and many, many more.
