Option 1: CSM Tutoring
CSM tutoring is offered in-person and on Zoom for the following subject areas:
Tutoring
Tutoring Services at College of Southern Maryland are FREE and offered through CSM at scheduled times and through ThinkingStorm, our 24/7 virtual tutoring service. Appointments are not required.
Both methods for tutoring are dedicated to the study groups and tutoring sessions for subjects taught at the CSM. All participants are expected to follow the student code of conduct at all times when interacting via these platforms.
To access the full options for tutoring, log in through myLearning and use the ‘Free Hawk Tutoring’ widget on the right side of every course page. Use the underlined "CLICK HERE FOR TUTORING" to access both CSM tutoring and ThinkingStorm tutoring.
Option 2: ThinkingStorm Online Tutoring
On-demand, appointment-based, and asynchronous online tutoring support is available in evenings, on weekends, and when CSM tutors are not available. ThinkingStorm tutoring is available for the following subjects:
- Math and Statistics (drop-in)
- Science (drop-in)
- Writing Center (asynchronous)
- Live Writing (by appointment)
- Business (by appointment)
- Other Topics (by appointment)
Appointments are not required for on-demand tutoring subjects.
