Veteran and military-connected students enjoy a community of support and camaraderie while pursuing an education at CSM. These resources and support services are just some of the reasons CSM has been named a Military Friendly® institution since 2014.
Students using VA educational benefits can take advantage of priority registration to sign up for their classes on the first day of registration, regardless of the number of credits completed.
Veteran and military-connected students have a dedicated academic advisor on CSM’s Veterans Benefits team to guide them in navigating their educational experience.
A Veterans Lounge has been established on the La Plata Campus as a dedicated space for student veterans where trust, support, and camaraderie can be found and fostered in an academic environment. Visit us in the Learning Resource Center (LR Building), Room 103 on the La Plata Campus.
The Veterans Club is open to all student veterans. For more information, contact John Delabrer at jadelabrer@csmd.edu.
Check out CSM’s FinancialAidTV for short, easy to digest videos related to using your VA educational benefits to pay for college.
