Student Resources

While CSM has moved classes online as a preventative measure to help limit the spread of coronavirus, the following help is available online.

Students should regularly check their CSM student e-mails, as well as their myLearning messages, for the updates regarding campus operations.

During Restricted Operations, in-person student services are available on a limited basis; most services require an appointment, although walk-ins are accepted for the College Store and Student Account Services (Bursar). Learn more about campus access and making appointments.

Student services will continue to be provided primarily online, and we recommend that, for your well-being and that of your college community, you continue to take advantage of online options whenever possible.

Online Learning (myLearning)

The online learning platform is called myLearning.  All courses use myLearning to post syllabi, take attendance, and post grades. During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, classes are continuing on the myLearning online platform.  Students should log into myLearning to access your courses during this time.

  • If you need assistance with myLearning, send an e-mail to DLF@csmd.edu.
  • For immediate assistance, you can use the myLearning Help button to chat or call a representative 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The button is on the myLearning homepage and on the homepage of each course.
  • If you are experiencing issues with my.CSMD, you can access myLearning through a “back-door” site at mylearning.csmd.edu/d2l/login and login using your my.CSMD username and password.

Zoom Video Conferencing

  • Zoom is a multi-functional web-based video and telephone conferencing system. The system allows meeting attendees to join via telephone, video, and web. It also allows screen sharing, a white board, and a presentation mode. Zoom conferencing is available to faculty, staff, and students with a my.CSMD account at csmd.zoom.us.
  • Zoom mobile apps are available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Zoom also has a desktop application, which has been installed on all CSM computers.
