The Math Resource Center provides a safe and inviting academic environment for CSM students to build confidence in all disciplines that speak the language of math.
The mission of our staff is to collaborate with students in bringing math pieces together so their understanding of how math works and why math is important can enrich their academic goals and become life-long independent learners. This is accomplished by evaluating conceptual strengths and weaknesses so that we can provide more individualized resources to promote the success of the diverse learners attending CSM.
"All in all, I will definitely be frequenting the Math Resource Center on a more regular basis after this Boot Camp. Although I had been informed about it in my previous course, I felt as if I wasn’t presented with enough information. To me, it sounded more like a set of offices with set times for tutoring, not a free tutoring area with attentive instructors and calm atmosphere. I didn’t think I could fit in scheduled tutoring into my schedule. With this new information, my opinion has certainly changed." - CSM student
